Monster Experience Point Rewards Below is a table of experience rewards for monsters based upon level. Experience in EverQuest is given strictly upon level and not difficulty of the montser being fought. There are two (2) additional factors that are incorporated into experience point awards that this table does not take into account: Grouping bonuses. Zone bonuses Certain zones, mostly dungeons in Kunark, give an additional bonus modifier to experience for monsters killed. The only "old world" dungeon that grants such a modifier is Kedge Keep. Kedge Keep has the highest bonus modifier in all the dungeons in Norrath, including Kunark. Green, Blue and Red Monsters Green Monsters Under most circumstances, green monsters will not give experience. However, if a monster is green to you by one (1) level (they just went green when you recently advanced), you will still be awarded experience for the kill. These monsters are commonly referred to as "dark green" mobs. Dark Green monsters award experience at half normal value. When the character is above 40th level, some dark green mobs by two (2) levels will still give experience, but they award at one quarter normal value. How can you tell by looking at them if they are green, dark green by 1, or dark green by 2? You can't. Blue Monsters Give normal experience awards. Red Monsters Give normal experience awards.
