GAINING ACCESS TO THE LADDER ON DISC 2: Open up the access box and move the fuses so that you have one on the "lock" that has a wire leading to the "ladder" and one on the "power" that leads to the lock. Flip the switch to release the lock. Then, flip it again to shut off the power and move the fuses to "ladder" and the "power" connected to the "ladder."
